Spezifität: This antibody reacts with a 25-27 kD protein. Protein gene protein 9.5 is a ubiquitin C-terminal hydroxylase found in neurons and nerve fibers of central and peripheral nervous system, many neuroendocrinal cells, segments of renal tubules, spermatogonia, leydig cells of testis and ova. It is present in cellular inclusions and can be a useful neuronal marker and in the studies of neurodegenerative disorders. This antibody cross reacts with cow.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation conditions should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Pancreatic tumor. Buffer: Purified immunoglobulin fraction of rabbit antiserum against bovine PGP 9.5 containing sodium azide as preservative.
