Spezifität: This antibody reacts with a 70 kD protein known as Ku (p70). Ku autoantigen is a heterodimer of p70 kD (p70) and 80 kD (p80) proteins. The p70/p80 dimer is important for the function of a 460 kD DNA-dependant protein kinas that phosphorylates certain transcription factors, including sp1, Oct-1, p53 and SV40 large T antigen in vitro. Ku protein plays a role in cell signaling, proliferation, DNA repair, replication, transcriptional activation and apoptosis. This antibody cross reacts with monkey but does not cross react with cow, rabbit and mouse.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:50-1:100 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the end user.
