Inhibits telomerase and DNA methyltransferase (DNMT) and blocks the activation of EGF receptors and HER-2 receptors. Also potently and specifically inhibits chymotrypsin-like activity of the proteasome in vitro (IC50= 86-194 nM) and in vivo (IC50 =1 -10 µM). |
