Simulation results demonstrate that the RNA binding domain qRRM2 of hnRNP F binds strongly with G-tract RNA, but any mutation of the G-tract leads to a drastic reduction of the binding free energy.
Human T2D kidneys exhibited more RPTC apoptosis and lower expression of hnRNP F, SIRTUIN-1, an (zeige SIRT1 Proteine)d FOXO3alpha than nondiabetic kidneys.
hnRNP F is a co-factor in a subset of tristetraprolin (zeige ZFP36 Proteine)/BRF1 (zeige ZFP36L1 Proteine)/BRF2 (zeige ZFP36L2 Proteine)-mediated mRNA decay.
These data point to a functional interaction between hnRNP F and SRSF1 (zeige SRSF1 Proteine) as a mutant that eliminates SRSF1 (zeige SRSF1 Proteine) binding to exon 11, or a SRSF1 (zeige SRSF1 Proteine) knockdown, which prevents the stimulatory effect of hnRNP F over expression.
this result suggests that hnRNP F directs formation of the exo (zeige ENOX2 Proteine)n 4 minus variant of ENOX2.
The study shows solution structures of the three quasi-RNA-recognition motifs of heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein F in complex with G-tract RNA.
heterogeneous ribonucleoprotein F is involved in the regulation of cell proliferation via the mammalian target of rapamycin (zeige FRAP1 Proteine)/S6 kinase 2 (zeige RPS6KB2 Proteine) pathway
Results suggest that hnRNP H (zeige HNRNPH1 Proteine) and F are nuclear shuttling proteins whose posttranslational modifications may alter interaction with transportin 1 (zeige TNPO1 Proteine), nuclear localization, and hence function.
high levels of hnRNP F are present in premalignant and malignant stages of colorectal cancer, reflecting a role for this protein early in colorectal tumorigenesis
The solution structure of the three quasi RNA recognition motifs of hnRNP F and identification of the residues that are important for the interaction with the Bcl-x (zeige BCL2L1 Proteine) RNA.
hnRNP F protects kidneys against oxidative stress and nephropathy via stimulation of Sirtuin-1 (zeige SIRT1 Proteine) expression and signaling in diabetes.
the beneficial actions of insulin (zeige INS Proteine) in diabetic nephropathy appear to be mediated, in part, by suppressing renal Nrf2 (zeige NFE2L2 Proteine) and Agt (zeige AGXT Proteine) gene transcription and preventing Nrf2 (zeige NFE2L2 Proteine) stimulation of Agt (zeige AGXT Proteine) expression via hnRNP F/K.
These data demonstrate that hnRNP F stimulates Ace-2 (zeige ACE2 Proteine) gene transcription, prevents TGF-beta1 (zeige TGFB1 Proteine) inhibition of Ace-2 (zeige ACE2 Proteine) gene transcription and induction of kidney injury in diabetes.
genome wide analysis of splicing events and gene expression regulated by hnRNPH (zeige HNRNPH1 Proteine)/F in oligodendrocytes
These data suggest that hnRNP F plays a modulatory role and can ameliorate hypertension, renal hypertrophy, and interstitial fibrosis in diabetes.
The hnRNP F can function as repressors of MOR translation dependent on the M4 sequence.
define hnRNP F as a regulatory element of MBP (zeige MBP Proteine) expression in oligodendrocytes and imply an important function of hnRNP F in the control of myelin synthesis.
hnRNP F directs formation of the exon 4 minus variant of ENOX2 (zeige ENOX2 Proteine)
This gene belongs to the subfamily of ubiquitously expressed heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs). The hnRNPs are RNA binding proteins that complex with heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA). These proteins are associated with pre-mRNAs in the nucleus and regulate alternative splicing, polyadenylation, and other aspects of mRNA metabolism and transport. While all of the hnRNPs are present in the nucleus, some seem to shuttle between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. The hnRNP proteins have distinct nucleic acid binding properties. The protein encoded by this gene has three repeats of quasi-RRM domains that bind to RNAs which have guanosine-rich sequences. This protein is very similar to the family member hnRPH. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding the same protein, have been identified.
