Human Granulysin (GNLY) Interaktionspartner

  1. These results suggest that the 15 kDa granulysin exhibits a novel mechanism in bacteria killing in a way that's different from most antimicrobial peptides.

  2. Decreased blood granulysin at the protein level, is linked to the immunological condition of latent tuberculosis infection.

  3. Carbamate pesticides significantly reduced the intracellular levels of perforin (zeige PRF1 Proteine), GrA (zeige NR3C1 Proteine), GrB, Gr3 (zeige PRLHR Proteine)/K, and GRN (zeige GRN Proteine) in NK-92CI cells.

  4. serum GNLY is closely associated with the clinical characteristics of nasopharyngeal carcinoma and may be a potential biomarker for nasopharyngeal carcinoma

  5. GNLY delivers Gzms into three protozoan parasites (Trypanosoma cruzi, Toxoplasma gondii and Leishmania major), in which the Gzms generate superoxide and inactivate oxidative defense enzymes to kill the parasite.

  6. Studies indicate that cytotoxic mechanisms mediated by granulysin and TRAIL (TNF-related apoptosis inducing ligand (zeige TNFSF10 Proteine)) seem to be less secondary effects on normal tissues.

  7. High Granulysin expression is associated with Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma and Sezary Syndrome.

  8. A three-way interaction between SNPs in HLA-DQ and GNLY was identified in terms of HBV clearance.

  9. GNLY-expressing lymphocytes, probably attracted by IL-15 (zeige IL15 Proteine), not only participate partially in myocardial cell apoptosis, but also hasten resolution of cardiac leukocyte infiltration in patients with myocardial infarction.

  10. Serum granulysin levels were significantly elevated in both acute and chronic alopecia areata patients.

  1. Intercaruncular epithelium granulysin may play important roles in the establishment and maintenance of gestation during normal pregnancy.

Granulysin (GNLY) Protein Überblick

Protein Überblick

The product of this gene is a member of the saposin-like protein (SAPLIP) family and is located in the cytotoxic granules of T cells, which are released upon antigen stimulation. This protein is present in cytotoxic granules of cytotoxic T lymphocytes and natural killer cells, and it has antimicrobial activity against M. tuberculosis and other organisms. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
