TARC is a candidate biomarker for PTSD only in males.
High CCL17 expression is associated with colon cancer cell migration.
GM-CSF (zeige CSF2 ELISA Kits) can mediate inflammation and pain by regulating IRF4 (zeige IRF4 ELISA Kits)-induced CCL17 production
Based on the ADEPT study data set, we report that airway mucosal expression of CCL26 (zeige CCL26 ELISA Kits) was a robust discriminator of type 2 inflammation from healthy nonatopic subjects. Furthermore, airway mucosal CCL26 (zeige CCL26 ELISA Kits) expression was best identified by using a panel of clinical biomarkers, including Feno values, bEOS counts, and expression of 2 novel markers, sCCL17 and sCCL26
Low CCL17 expression is a potential independent adverse prognostic biomarker for recurrence and survival of patients with clear cell renal cell carcinoma after nephrectomy.
IP-10 (zeige CXCL10 ELISA Kits) serum increase or TARC/IP-10 (zeige CXCL10 ELISA Kits) ratio decrease along with abnormal hepatic enzymatic alteration could signify early rejection of the transplanted liver.
elevated pre-treatment levels of sGal-1, sCD163 (zeige CD163 ELISA Kits), sCD30 and TARC can be found in patients with classic Hodgkin lymphoma. However, only plasma TARC accurately reflects disease activity and correlates with clinical treatment response.
levels elevated in rheumatoid arthritis synovial fluid, due to production by mononuclear cells, particularly CD1c classical dendritic cells
Serum TARC levels are well correlated with blood eosinophil counts in patients with generalized drug eruptions, indicating that Th2-type immune reactions underlie TARC production. Serum TARC measurements also have potent diagnostic value for DIHS, with high sensitivity and specificity.
Data suggest that Th1 (zeige TH1L ELISA Kits) (IFN-gamma (zeige IFNG ELISA Kits)-inducible protein-10 IP-10/CXCL10 (zeige CXCL10 ELISA Kits)) and Th2 (thymus and activation regulated chemokine TARC/CCL17) and (macrophage derived chemokine MDC/CCL22 (zeige CCL22 ELISA Kits)) cooperatively play a role in the development of ankylosing spondylitis (AS).
the M2 macrophage chemokine CCL17 was identified as an essential factor for enhanced survival in the absence of CB2, because CCL17 x Cnr2 double-deficient mice were fully susceptible to experimental cerebral malaria.
Aged mice had similar levels of IL-1beta (zeige IL1B ELISA Kits), TNF (zeige TNF ELISA Kits), IFN-gamma (zeige IFNG ELISA Kits), IL-17 (zeige IL17A ELISA Kits), and granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (zeige CSF3 ELISA Kits) following S. pneumoniae infection, compared with young mice, but increased levels of the chemokines CXCL9 (zeige CXCL9 ELISA Kits), CXCL12 (zeige CXCL12 ELISA Kits), CCL3 (zeige CCL3 ELISA Kits), CCL4 (zeige CCL4 ELISA Kits), CCL5 (zeige CCL5 ELISA Kits), CCL11 (zeige CCL11 ELISA Kits), and CCL17.
that effective engagement of CCR4 (zeige CCR4 ELISA Kits) by CCL17 involves two distinct binding domains and interaction with both is required for signaling
murine tumor-associated neutrophils secrete significant amounts of CCL17. Migration assays showed recruitment of T-regs by tumor-associated neutrophils, which was inhibited with anti-CCL17 monoclonal antibodies.
TSLP (zeige TSLP ELISA Kits) activated a subset of CD11b (zeige ITGAM ELISA Kits)(+) DCs in the skin to produce CCL17, upregulate CCR7 (zeige CCR7 ELISA Kits), and migrate to the draining lymph node to initiate Th2 differentiation.
CCL17 is required for induction of intestinal inflammation in mice and has an autocrine effect on dendritic cells that promotes production of inflammatory cytokines and activation of Th1 (zeige HAND1 ELISA Kits) and Th17 cells and reduces expansion of Treg cells.
Kinetics of CCL17 mRNA expression in an allergic contact dermatitis model.
Thymus and activation-regulated chemokine (TARC)/CC chemokine (zeige CCL1 ELISA Kits) ligand (CCL) 17 accelerates wound healing by enhancing fibroblast migration.
Data identify DC-derived CCL17 as a central regulator of Treg homeostasis, implicate DCs and their effector functions in atherogenesis, and suggest that CCL17 might be a target for vascular therapy.
This gene is one of several Cys-Cys (CC) cytokine genes clustered on the q arm of chromosome 16. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The cytokine encoded by this gene displays chemotactic activity for T lymphocytes, but not monocytes or granulocytes. The product of this gene binds to chemokine receptors CCR4 and CCR8. This chemokine plays important roles in T cell development in thymus as well as in trafficking and activation of mature T cells.
