  2. BZML is a novel colchicine binding site inhibitor and overcomes multi-drug resistance in A549/Taxol cells by inhibiting P-gp (zeige ABCB4 Proteine) function and inducing mitotic catastrophe.

  3. We have noted that the implication of C3435T variant on the risk of breast cancer was ethnicity-dependent. However, there is no evidence that ABCB1 (zeige ABCB1 Proteine) C3435T polymorphism could play a role in susceptibility to breast cancer in Morocco.

  4. no significant clinical relevance between Pgp expression and osteosarcoma survival

  5. Meta-analysis found no evidence for ABCB1 (zeige ABCB1 Proteine) C3435T and C1236T polymorphisms as risk factors for pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

  6. ABCB1 (zeige ABCB1 Proteine) gene polymorphisms in association with others risk factors contribute to anti-TB drug resistance, mainly ethambutol.

  7. For the first time, we demonstrated that MDR1 rs1128503 polymorphisms were associated with systemic lupus erythematosus susceptibility in Chinese Guangxi population.

  8. multiple pathways, including MMP9 (zeige MMP9 Proteine) cleavage and ubiquitinylation, mediated P-gp (zeige ABCB4 Proteine) downmodulation.

  9. We also determined the effect of Pygo2 on the sensitivity of breast tumors resistant to doxorubicin in a mouse model. Finally, RNA samples from 64 paired patient tumors (before and after chemotherapy) highly and significantly overexpressed Pygo2 and/or MDR1 after treatment, thus underlining a pivotal role for the Pygo2-mediated Wnt/b-catenin pathway in the clinical chemoresistance of breast cancer.

  10. We did not find any relationship between the methylation levels of the ABCB1 (zeige ABCB1 Proteine) promoter and clopidogrel resistance (CR). In conclusions, our study indicated that ABCB1 (zeige ABCB1 Proteine) polymorphisms might be useful in further evaluating the pathogenesis of CR.

  3. Data suggest that ATP binding to Abcb1b/P-glycoprotein (Pgp) in liposomes exhibits cooperativity with verapamil (a cardiovascular/antiarrhythmia drug); cooperativity between verapamil and a nonhydrolyzable ATP analog (AMPPNP) leads to distinct global conformational changes in Abcb1b/Pgp.

ATP-Binding Cassette, Sub-Family B (MDR/TAP), Member 1B (ABCB1B) Protein Überblick

Protein Überblick

The membrane-associated protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the MDR/TAP subfamily. Members of the MDR/TAP subfamily are involved in multidrug resistance. The protein encoded by this gene is an ATP-dependent drug efflux pump for xenobiotic compounds with broad substrate specificity. It is responsible for decreased drug accumulation in multidrug-resistant cells and often mediates the development of resistance to anticancer drugs. This protein also functions as a transporter in the blood-brain barrier.
