Human Polyclonal ABCA8 Primary Antibody für ELISA - ABIN449693
Tsuruoka, Ishibashi, Yamamoto, Wakaumi, Suzuki, Schwartz, Imai, Fujimura: Functional analysis of ABCA8, a new drug transporter. in Biochemical and biophysical research communications 2002
ABCA8 facilitates cholesterol efflux and modulates HDL (zeige HSD11B1 Antikörper)-cholesterol levels.
Genes ABCC7 (zeige CFTR Antikörper), A3, A8, A12 (zeige UGT1A9 Antikörper), and C8 prevailed among the most upregulated or downregulated ones. In conclusion, the results supported our theory about general adenosine triphosphate-binding cassette gene expression profiles and their importance for cancer on clinical as well as research levels
These data suggest a direct relationship between the levels of ABCA8 and the ectopic expression of alpha-syn and increased expression of p25alpha (zeige Tppp Antikörper)
ABCA8 is highly expressed in human brain and regulates lipid metabolism in oligodendrocytes, potentially playing a role in myelin formation and maintenance.
SLC2A1/GLUT1 (zeige SLC2A1 Antikörper), SLC1A3/EAAT1 (zeige SLC1A3 Antikörper), and SLC1A2/EAAT2 (zeige SLC1A2 Antikörper) were the main SLC (zeige CCL21 Antikörper) proteins whereas ABCG2/BCRP (zeige ABCG2 Antikörper), ABCB1/MDR1 (zeige ABCB4 Antikörper), ABCA2 (zeige ABCA2 Antikörper) and ABCA8 were the main ABC (zeige ABCB6 Antikörper) quantified in isolated brain microvessels
Functional analysis of the transport properties of ABCA8.
The membrane-associated protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intracellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the ABC1 subfamily. Members of the ABC1 subfamily comprise the only major ABC subfamily found exclusively in multicellular eukaryotes. The function of this protein has not yet been determined.
